ไต เป็นอวัยวะภายในร่างกายของเรา รูปร่างเป็นเม็ดถั่วแดง อยู่ข้างหลังสองข้าง มีหน้าที่ขับของเสียออกจากร่างกายในรูปปัสสาวะ และมีหน้าที่ปรับสมดุลน้ำกรดด่างในร่างกาย นอกจากนี้ยังมีหน้าที่ผลิตฮอร์โมนอีกด้วย ดังนั้นถ้าไตทำงานผิดปกติไปจะทำให้ร่างกายทำงานผิดปกติ โรคไตเรื้อรังถือว่าเป็นฆาตรกรเงียบ เนื่องจากในระยะแรกนั้นอาจไม่แสดงอาการชัดเจน แต่จะเริ่มมีอาการเมื่อตอนที่ไตเสียหายไปพอสมควรแล้ว จนเข้าสู่โรคไตเรื้องรังระยะสุดท้าย ซึ่งอาจจำเป็นต้องได้รับการรักษาด้วยการบำบัดทดแทนไต ดังนั้นการสังเกตสัญญาณ หรืออาการโรคไตนั้นสำคัญ
โรคไตคืออะไร
โรคไต คือ ภาวะที่ไตทำงานผิดปกติ มีหลายชื่อเรียก เช่น ไตวาย ไตเสื่อม ไตทำงานลดลง แบ่งเป็น 2 ประเภทหลัก คือ 1.โรคไตเฉียบพลัน ซึ่งเกิดขึ้นภายในระยะเวลาไม่เกิน 3 เดือน มีโอกาสรักษาให้หายขาดได้ และ 2. โรคไตเรื้อรัง ซึ่งเกิดขึ้นในระยะเวลามากกว่า 3 เดือนขึ้นไป รักษาไม่หายขาดและอาจดำเนินโรคต่อเนื่องจนเข้าสู่โรคไตเรื้องรังระยะสุดท้าย ซึ่งอาจจำเป็นต้องได้รับการรักษาด้วยการบำบัดทดแทนไต
อาการที่เป็นสัญญาณเตือนว่าคุณกำลังเป็นโรคไต
หากคุณมีอาการโรคไตเหล่านี้ บ่งบอกได้ว่าคุณกำลังเสี่ยงเป็นผู้ป่วยโรคไตแล้ว รีบพบแพทย์เพื่อทำการตรวจและรักษาโดยทันที โดยอาการเตือนมีดังนี้
1. อาการบวม หน้าบวม ขาบวม
เกิดจากไตไม่สามารถขับน้ำและเกลือได้อย่างปกติ จนเกิดการคั่งของน้ำและเกลือ ส่งผลให้เกิดอาการบวมตามร่างกายขึ้น เช่น อาการบวมบริเวณเปลือกตา ใบหน้า เท้า และหน้าแข้ง โดยจะเห็นได้ชัดเจนในตอนที่ยืน หรือเดินนานๆ โดยที่สามารถตรวจง่ายด้วยการใช้นิ้วกดลงไปที่เท้า หรือหน้าแข้งค้างไว้ประมาณ 5-10 วินาที แล้วสังเกตว่ามีการบุ๋มลงไปหรือไม่ หากมีรอยบุ๋มอย่างชัดเจนแสดงว่าคุณอาจเป็นโรคไตแล้ว
2. ปัสสาวะมีฟอง
การขับปัสสาวะมีฟอง เกิดจากการมีโปรตีนไข่ขาว หรือโปรตีนอัลบูมิน (Albumin) รั่วออกมาในปัสสาวะ ซึ่งอาจเป็นอาการของภาวะโรคไตเรื้อรัง โดยสามารถสังเกตได้เวลาถ่ายปัสสาวะแล้วมีฟองเกิดขึ้น หรือเมื่อกดน้ำล้างแล้วแต่ก็ยังมีฟองหลงเหลืออยู่
3. ปัสสาวะเป็นเลือด
ในภาวะปกติ ปัสสาวะจะมีสีเหลืองอ่อนจนถึงสีเข้ม ขึ้นกับปริมาณน้ำที่รับประทานในขณะนั้นๆ แต่ถ้ามีลักษณะที่ปัสสาวะมีเลือดปนที่สามารถมองเห็นได้ด้วยตาเปล่า หรือลักษณะเป็นสีน้ำล้างเนื้อ สีแดง ซึ่งนั่นเป็นสัญญาณเตือนความผิดปกติเกิดขึ้นกับไต หรือ อาจเกิดจากการติดเชื้อทางเดินปัสสาวะ นิ่วในทางเดินปัสสาวะได้เช่นกัน
4. ปัสสาวะกลางคืนบ่อยกว่าปกติ
ในช่วงเวลาที่เรานอนหลับปกติ จะไม่ได้ดื่มน้ำ การทำงานของไตจะมีหน้าที่ดูดกลับน้ำ ทำให้ปริมาณปัสสาวะลดลงและถูกเก็บในกระเพาะปัสสาวะ จึงไม่จำเป็นต้องลุกขึ้นมาปัสสาวะ โดยปกติในแต่ละคืนจะลุกมาปัสสาวะไม่เกิน 1-2 ครั้ง แต่ถ้าไตมีความผิดปกติ เช่น โรคไตเรื้อรัง ซึ่งไตจะไม่สามารถดูดกลับน้ำได้เท่าปกติ จะทำให้ผู้ป่วยต้องลุกขึ้นมาปัสสาวะตอนกลางคืนบ่อยมากขึ้น หรือประมาณ 4-5 ครั้ง/คืน
5. ปวดเอว ปวดหลังมากผิดปกติ
อาการปวดนั้นอาจจะพบที่บริเวณเอว หรือหลัง เกิดจากรอยโรคที่บริเวณไต ซึ่งอยู่บริเวณหลังเอวทั้ง 2 ข้าง โดยสาเหตุมักเกิดจาก นิ่วในระบบทางเดินปัสสาวะ หรืออาจเกิดจากโรคถุงน้ำที่ไต หรือเนื้องอกของไตก็ได้
6. ความดันโลหิตสูงมากผิดปกติ
ความดันโลหิตสูงมากผิดปกติ โดยเฉพาะผู้ที่มีอายุต่ำกว่า 35 ปี หรือความดันโลหิตสูงที่คุมได้ยากโดยจำเป็นต้องใช้ยาหลายชนิดในการควบคุม สาเหตุอาจเกิดจากโรคไต เช่น ไตอักเสบ ไตวาย หรือ เส้นเลือดไปเลี้ยงไตตีบ เป็นต้น
7. คลื่นไส้อาเจียนมาก
หากคุณมีอาการคลื่นไส้อาเจียนมาก เบื่ออาหารร่วมด้วย อาจเป็นอาการที่ไม่จำเพาะเจาะจงต่อโรคใดโรคหนึ่ง แต่ในโรคไตเรื้อรังนั้น จะทำให้มีอาการเหล่านี้ได้เช่นกัน รวมทั้งอาการเหล่านี้มักเกิดในโรคไตเรื้อรังระยะสุดท้าย ซึ่งอาจจำเป็นต้องได้รับการรักษาด้วยการบำบัดทดแทนไตในที่สุด
